Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson were seen together after a Yankee game on last Friday. The two got close later that friday night at Mustang Grill, a Mexican restaurant in Manhattan according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Rob Olsen, the owner of the restaurant Mustang Grill, had this to say, “We sat them in a private area of the restaurant, a private room off the main dining room. They were there for about an hour. They left around 1 a.m. They had dinner and drinks. They appeared to enjoy themselves.” Alex is frequently at the Mustang Grill according to Rob, “He’s here a couple times a week. He comes with his buddies after the game.”
Alex and Kate seem to hit it off pretty well! He likes blondes and she likes athletes. Back in November the two were seen at the grand opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami having a good time. A source at the opening dinner had this to say, “A-Rod and Kate were having a blast, flirting, laughing, and doing high-fives to each other much of the night. They were definitely having fun.”
Could it be that they haven’t hooked up because of Kate’s boyfriend, owen Wilson? Kate did get back together with Owen in February. The took a trip to France where they enjoyed bike rides, shopping and late-night dinners. But that didn’t last. Owen and Kate were on and off since the trip until they finally split. A source told PEOPLE that, “for now they’re off…again. It wasn’t a big thing. They’re great friends who slip into the dating world but they always come out of it being better friends than anything else…They’ll still hang out but as far as the dating thing it’s over, for now.”
Are either one of them ready for a relationship? Maybe that’s why they haven’t hooked up yet. A friend of Kate had this to say about Alex, “Maybe he is trying to get over Madonna. She is beautiful.” While another friend of Kate said, “He’s hot!”
