Angelina Jolie From Child Activist To Red Carpet

Before heading to the Cannes Film Festival in France Angelina made a stop in the Netherlands on Tuesday. She spent the day watching the the prosecution of Thomas Lubanga, the founder and former leader of the Union of Congolese Patriots.
According to the Associated Press he allegedly would recruit and use children as soldiers. Angelina had this to say, “After watching the proceedings from the viewing booth, I stood up and found Thomas Lubanga Dyilo looking at me.” She called the prosecution of Thomas Lubanga “a landmark trial for children.”
“I imagined how difficult it must be for all the brave young children who have come to testify against him,” said Angelina in a statement given to the International Criminal Court.
After she met with Luis Moreno-Ocampo, the ICC (International Criminal Court) chief prosecutor, she headed to France to prepare for the Cannes Film Festival where she walked the red carpet with Brad Pitt at the premiere of his new movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’. While Angelina and Brad totally complement each other on the red carpet, Angelina caught the attention of many with the stunning thigh-high slit on her gown which accented her perfectly toned right leg.
