Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee have confirmed they are getting a divorce.
In a statement, the couple said they remain “caring friends with admiration and respect for each other.” They got married about five years ago at Joel’s mansion on Long Island, New York.
A rep for Joel didn’t immediately respond to the question of whether the couple were getting a divorce.
Katie was Billy Joel’s third wife.
Joel, 60-years-old, is one of pop’s most successful singer-songwriters. Katie Lee Joel was the host for the first season of Bravo TV’s “Top Chef.”
Two years ago, he recorded the song “All My Life” as an anniversary gift to his 27-year-old.
