Brad Pitt’s Charity Attracts Tourist To New Orleans

New Orleans’ Hurricane Katrine has become a tourist attraction thanks to the charity from Brad Pitt, residents said.
Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation has committed to funding 150 environmentally friendly and architecturally homes in the neighborhood.Gloria Guy, the owner of one of the houses, says she doesn’t mind the constant tour buses coming by, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported on Friday.
“It doesn’t bother me, because I just thank God for what (Pitt) did for me and I don’t mind taking time,” Guy told the newspaper. “I do have patience. Some people don’t.”
She said tourists and reporters come by at different hours of the day, with a minimum of three buses parked in front of her home, which has sign reading “private residence” posted in front of it.
A neighbor, the Reverend Charles Duplessis, has a different opinion about the whole situation. He told the Times-Picayune, “Sometimes they come in and don’t even knock.” He said his home is not one of Pitt’s Make It Right homes.
