Financial figures show, singer Britney Spears spent millions of dollars above her legal bills during a recent 11-month period.
E! Online reported on Friday, while Spears’s legal fees marked more than $3 million between February 1 and December 31 of 2008, the singer still spent millions more on personal and business expenses within that time period.
Spears paid $105,000 to rent a home in Malibu, California, during that time period, while making payments of $50,000 in home repairs and maintenance. An additional $285,594 was paid out for mortgage payments.
She also spent $447,634 for security and $178,818 for childcare.
Spears paid about $189,000 to her assistants and other employees, and spent $1.06 million on “business” expenses.
