Comedian Robert Schimmel Beats His Wife

Robert Schimmel was arrested in his home for allegedly beating his wife today.
Sgt. Jay Royal, Los Angeles County Sheriff, was the officer called to Schimmel’s home in Calabasas at which time he took Schimmel into custody. Shortly after his arrest for spousal abuse he was released on $50,000 bail.
At the present time no comments have been made by Schimmel or his agent. Schimmel has often appeared on Conan O’Brien’s TV show as well as Howard Stern’s radio show.
