Depeche Mode will be releasing a new album on April 21. It will be Depeche Mode’s 12th album, “Sounds of the Universe”, which consists of catchy dance beats with a little pinch of darkness.
Depeche Mode will also be performing in a World Tour which is to start on May 10 in Tel Aviv and finish in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The “Tour of the Universe” tour will take four months to complete.
Depeche Mode has eight concerts in Germany, two in Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl) and concerts also in Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia and Latvia. Most of the concerts are already sold out. That’s amazing!
After 30 years in the music industry, Depeche Mode’s concert attendance keeps increasing. The 1998’s concert attendance was 270,000; the 2001’s concert attendance was 350,000 and in 2005-2006 the concert attendance reached 410,000. And that’s in the US only! Overseas the attendance has reached into the millions.
The attendance for the “Sounds of the Universe” Tour is expected to be in the 1.4 million range.
