“Farrah’s Story” aired on NBC Friday night. It drew in an estimated 8.9 million viewers, which is the best rating on a Friday night in the past year.

Although the rating was very good, it was surpassed by CBS’s season finale of the crime drama “Numb3rs” that drew in 9.6 million viewers. The “Farrah’s Story” program came in second to the Olympics for NBC’s most watched tv programs.

The video of Farrah was very heart-felt and personal. It took you through the actress’s most intimate moments. Farrah felt that making this video available to the general audience would help inspire others said Alana Stewart who is a film producer as well as a close friend to Farrah.

In the video Farrah said, “I do not want to die of this disease. So I say to God, ‘It is seriously time for a miracle.’” She has stayed strong and in good humor throughout the filming eventhough she is in pain and deals with harsher treatments and setbacks. Ryan O’Neal, long-time friend and companion, has been by her side in her time of need. He too faced cancer once and Farrah was by his side supporting him.
