The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office is charging Gerard Butler with misdemeanor battery. Gerard had a confrontation with a photographer during the premier of his movie, “RocnRolla”, back in October.
Blair Berk, Gerard’s attorney, says that the charge against him doesn’t require that he appear in court. Because of this he is not expected to attend. Gerard may face up to six months in jail if he is convicted.
Gerard is best known for his leading roles in “300″ and “P.S. I Love You”.
