Since the divorce these Guy and Madonna have moved on to the next chapter in their lives.
Guy Ritchie has found an interest in a young world-famous model. Ritchie was seen having dinner in London with Elle Macpherson on Monday night. The Notting Hill Brassiere Restaurant was their restaurant of choice for dinner. These two were spotted by the paparazzi when they were leaving the restaurant.
Even though Guy and Elle went their separate ways after having dinner, they both stayed past midnight at the restaurant and left with a happy face. Either the food was that good or the company was that good!
Madonna has also found interest in someone other than Guy. Jesus Luz, a Brazilian model, is Madonna’s new squeeze. There is a 28 year age gap between the two. Madonna and Jesus met some time before Christmas at a magazine photo shoot.
And the kids? Madonna is considering adding a member to her family. Madonna is interested in adding a Malawian sister of brother for David, her Malawian son.
Madonna told Malawi’s Nation newspaper that “It’s something I have been considering but would only do if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government.”
Malawi does not allow adoption from foreigners. You must have been resident in Malawi for more than one year in order to be considered eligible to adopt a Malawi child.
Madonna and Guy adopted David, native of Malawi, in 2006 before their recent divorce. David’s biological father still lives in Malawi. Madonna says that she is determined to teach David about his homeland. Madonna also said that “It is a big priority for me to educate my son about the world, but always to stay connected to his Malawian culture. He has a big map of Africa in his room with lots of arrows pointing to Malawi.”
Although Madonna and Guy are divorced, as parents they will play an important role in the upbringing of the children. Madonna mentioned that “I believe in family. So everything between us is very amicable…we both agree that our children should always feel a deep connection with both their parents. It is our responsibility to give them that foundation.”
