Hard to believe that it’s been a year since Nahla was born. Nahla Ariela Aubry was born at 10:17 am at Cedars-Sinai Hospital on March 16th.
Little Nahla is as beautiful as her mother, Halle Berry. Nahla is Halle’s first child. Halle,42, and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry,31, have been together for three years. There hasn’t been any mention of marriage between these two, although Halle was seen in August of 2008 wearing a sparkling band on the ‘wedding ring finger’.
A source told PEOPLE back in May of 2008, “It’s not an engagement ring. Halle just saw it and thought it was beautiful so she bought it for herself.” But why was she wearing it on the ‘wedding ring finger’?
In an interview on “Oprah” back in October of 2007 Halle said, “I never want to be married again. I guess you could say I have bad taste in men. But I no longer feel the need to be someone’s wife. I don’t feel like I need to be validated by being in a marriage.”
We’ll just have to wait and see if she changes her mind.
