Peter, played by Paul Rudd, must choose between his new best friend Sydney, played by Jason Segel, and his fiancee, played by Rashida Jones.
Peter Klaven is a real estate agent in L.A. who just got engaged. Now he’s trying to find his best man but realizes that he has no male friends. He’s faced with the dilemma that he has no best man and no groomsmen because he has no male friends.
You may wonder why he has no male friends. Well, Peter is a very sincere guy who’s in touch with his sensitive side. Peter then meets Sydney, a typical insensitive guy. Peter and Sydney then start hanging out in an attempt to make Peter more manly. In doing so, Peter’s relationship with his fiance starts to suffer.
