Jennifer Love Hewitt Says Breakup Rumors Are Hurtful

The rumors about Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are just… rumors.
“I’m not going to lie – it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful,” Hewitt told PEOPLE Saturday.
“It’s really hurtful that people say that,” says Hewitt, 30, who has been with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy for 8 months. “Because he is like the most awesome person.”
Hewitt added: “I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.”
A recent report said that Kennedy, 39, is still into an ex while dating Hewitt. Hewitt’s representative dismissed it as a false claim.
“We are just trying to be really happy,” Hewitt says. “It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there.”
Kennedy added: “I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much.”
