John Rich- Judge Drops Assault Charges

Country singer John Rich is celebrating after a Nashville, Tennessee judge didn’t charge him with assault and harassment charges.
In May the Big & Rich star surrendered himself to police to face the charges, which stemmed from an alleged March altercation with Jared Ashley.
Ashley sued Rich for claims that he punched him in the face. Rich then countersued, hoping that he would get compensation for defamation.
Rich handed a settlement offer to pay Ashely $2.9 million to have the charges dropped but turned it down, keeping his innocence.
The judge dropped the charged after a string of witnesses insisted Rich never punched Ashley.
