Keifer has admitted to regretful behavior on his part in an incident that occured at a Met Costume Institute Gala afterparty.  Keifer head-butted Proenza Shouler designer, Jack McCollough.

In a joint statement with Jack, Keifer had this to say, “I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured.” Jack then added: “I appreciate Mr. Sutherland’s statement and wish him well.” Keifer is to appear in court in New York on June 22 on the misdemeanor assault charges for head-butting Jack.

On the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show on Thursday Kiefer said that the altercation is something “I really regret having happened.” Hopefully their reconciliation with pave the way for a dismissal in court.
