Actress Kelly McGillis, 51, has made it known that she is gay and looking for a female partner.
The twice-divorced mom of two kids is best known for her roles in the movies “Top Gun,” “The Accused” and “Witness.”
She was asked on the internet show “Girl Rock!” if she wants to date a man or a woman, People.com said the single actress replied, “Definitely a woman.”
“(I’m) done with the man thing. I did that. I need to move on in life. It’s a part of being true to yourself. That’s been a challenge for me,” People.com quoted McGillis saying.
“(Coming out as a lesbian was) an ongoing process from the time I was probably 12,” she said. “I had a lot of things happen that convinced me that God was punishing me because I was gay.”
