Walt Disney Animation Studios and directors Aaron Blaise and Robert Walker and Producer Chuck Williams will be releasing King of the Elves on December 25, 2012.
This movie is based on a short fantasy story (King of the Elves) written by storyteller Phillip K. Dick in 1953. The movie King of the Elves is based on an average man that lived in the Mississippi Delta. He is named the new king to a group of elves because of his unwillingness to help these elves escape an evil and bulling troll. As king, this average man gets caught in a journey full of excitement and danger with a rewarding opportunity to bring purpose and meaning back into his own life.
The cast that is to play the voices in the movie is still undetermined.
