After being dumped by Sam, Lindsay Lohan is coping with the pain by inflicting more pain on herself. Lindsay recently got a tattoo of a Marilyn Monroe quote on her wrist.
A source informed PEOPLE that Lindsay got a tattoo on her inner wrist of a Marilyn Monroe quote. The quote reads: “Everyone’s a star and deserves the right to twinkle.” Lindsay got this tattoo during a recent trip to the Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood. The writing on her tattoo is in cursive with yellow, green and blue stars around it.
Marilyn Monroe seems to be a big inspiration in Lindsay’s life. In 2008 she posed nude for a New York magazine in an attempt to replicate the 1962 famous Marilyn Monroe photo shoot. During which Lindsay told the publication that Marilyn was a “prime example of what this industry can do to someone.”
Some sources say that Lindsay has been struggling since the break up with Sam saying that “She feels alone. All of their mutual friends have turned on her; she’s 22 but this would be tough to handle at any age.”
While other sources say the complete opposite. These sources say that she’s stronger than what people are making her out to be and say “She’s being painted as this victim, but she’s not. She’s a strong girl.”
