Madonna Supports Quake Relief

Madonna not only has the adoption of Mercy in her hands but also the people of Italy. After speaking with Fernando Caparso, the mayor of Pacentro, and hearing of the devastation the earthquake she offered to help.
Madonna’s grandparents grew up in Pacentro, Italy, a mountainside village. Mayor Caparso told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he was deeply moved by Madonna’s effort to assist the town as well as surrounding areas.
Madonna will be pledging $500,000 which is to go towards the most damages areas.
