This horror western movie is a remake of a TokyoPop comic book, “Priest”. This movie takes place in a devastated world with centuries of war between man and vampire.
One of the church’s own warrior priest turns on them. This warrior priest leaves the church to track down a murderous group of vampires who kipnapped his niece.
This screenplay was written by Cory Goodman. Paul Bettany is in negotiations to star as the warrior priest in this movie. The Screen Gems project would then reunite Paul Bettany with director Scott Stewart.
Scott recently finished filming another movie, “Legion”, which is a supernatural thriller about a band of misfits led by an archangel who want to prevent humanity from being annihilated by angels.
