Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, and Matthew Broderick, 47,will be the parents of twin girls.
The actress and her husband are expecting the twin girls through a surrogate pregnancy, representatives for the couple said on Tuesday.
The couple “are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed,” a statement said from the publicists.
The couple has a 6-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick. Their 12th wedding anniversary will be next month.
Details about the surrogate or how her pregnancy was going was unavailable.
Sarah Jessica Parker has starred in the show “Sex and The City.” Matthew Broderick has starred in the movie “Ferris Buellers Day Off.”
