A security guard has been charged for shoving former model Stephanie Seymour into a door in her Connecticut house.
Greenwich police told the Greenwich Time newspaper they have arrested the guard, 50-year-old Joseph Babnik of Carmel, New York, Thursday. He was given a misdemeanor on a disorderly conduct charge.
Seymour, 39, and her estranged husband, wealthy newsprint baron Peter Brant, 62, are getting a divorce. Police say Babnik is watching the estate while the Brant is out of the country.
The couple has been living in different houses, but on the same estate.
Babnik told the police that Seymour had taken a piece of paper from him and he was trying to get it back. He claims he fell into the door while trying to stop her from entering.
