Actress Selena Gomez, the star of the Disney show “Wizards of Waverly Place,” says there was no reason for her Twitter post about tough times.
Speaking to People magazine, the actress, 16, said she hoped her fans would learn a little bit from her Twitter page posting of “Tough times don’t last. Tough people do,” People.com reported on Friday.
“No specific reason,” Gomez said. “We’re going throught lots of things right now, it was a really wonderful saying, and i hoped my fans could get something out of that, because they might be going through something as well.”
Gomez told people she learned that saying from one of her fans.
“I loved that saying, It really spoke to me. It’s true,” the actress said. “And I had to Tweet about it.”
