The wife of record producer and convicted murderer Phil Spector says they married in the room where actress Lana Clarkson was murdered.
Phil Spector, 69, was sentenced 19 years to life in prison for killing Clarkson in his Los Angeles mansion in 2003.
The TV program “Inside Edition” said Rachelle Spector, 28, took it on an exclusive tour of the home, including the anteroom where Clarkson died and where Phil and Rachelle got married in 2006.
“Inside Edition” said the couple exchanged vows a couple feet from where Clarkson’s body was found. It also reported the agency where Phil kept his gun is now covered with wedding pictures.
Rachelle told “Inside Edition” in an interview airing on Thursday that she wasn’t superstitious about getting married in the room where Clarkson died.
“I had my mind on happier things,” she said. In addition she said she doesn’t mind being alone in the 15,000-square-foot, 35-room medieval-style mansion. “I don’t find it scary. It’s our home.”
