The Bear and the Bow
Pixar’s action-adventure movie, “The Bear and the Bow” is set in a ragged and legendary Scotland. The implusive, matted-hair Merida (voice played by Reese Witherspoon) prefers to be known as a great archer than the as a daughter of royalty.
Disagreements with her mother compel Merida to lash out and make irrational decisions. These irrational decisions cause unintended dangers on her parent’s (father’s voice played by Billy Connolly and mother’s voice played by Emma Thompson) kingdom. Merida must now pay the price for her irrational actions. She must try extra hard to make things right by coming up against unforeseen forces of nature, not to include the magic and a dark, ancient curse!
