The Date Has Been Picked For 2010 Oscars
The 82nd annual Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles has been posted for March 7, 2010, organizers said today.
The announcement was made by Sid Ganis, the president of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The ceremony will take place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and it will be televised live by the ABC Television Network, Ganis said, just like the 2009 Oscars
Nomination ballots will be mailed out December 28, 2009, and have to be returned by January 23, 2010.
Nominations will be announced February 2, 2010 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater and the final ballots have to be returned to the Academy by February 10.
The 81st annual Academy Awards ceremony were on February 22, 2009.
