Toby Keith to Star with Hilary Duff in Provinces of Night

The country music performer, Toby Keith, is no stranger to movies as he released his own movie ‘Beer For My Horses’ late last year. Striving to further his movie career, he’s taking a different approach by starring alongside Hilary Duff in ‘Provinces of Night.’

‘Provinces of Night’ is based on the book by William Gay. The 2000 novel by the Tennessee author is set in 1952, as well as the movie, in which a man who roamed the country for 20 years returns to his hometown to find that things have changed for the worst… including his family.

The independent film will be shot entirely in Wilmington, North Carolina and produced by Jay McPhaul and directed by Shane Taylor. ‘Provinces of Night’ will also feature Pell James and Bruce McGill.
