Uma and Arpad have been engaged since last June when Arpad put an 8 carat diamond ring on her finger. Sources have told PEOPLE that the two may have wedding plans underway.
The couple is staying in the Bahamian Island at a luxury resort on Eleuthera. According to the marriage requirements for the Bahamas, a couple can get married in the Bahamas as long as they have been in the country for 48 hours. Marriage licenses are issued by the Registrar General, this same official issued the marriage license for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.
If Uma and Arpad to get married, this will be the third marriage for Uma. she has two children from her previous marriage to Ethan Hawke. Arpad has also been married before. He was married to supermodel Elle Macpherson and had two children with her.
