Watchmen: #1 Of Top Ten Movies

The Watchmen has made it to the top on the Top Ten Movies list for its first week on the big screen. According to Media by Numbers Watchmen has grossed $55.7 million during its first week. So far this year this movie has been the biggest debut for 2009.
Although this may be the biggest debut for 2009, the year has just started. Althoug the Watchmen grossed better than any other movie so far this year, no records were set. In 2007 the movie 300 brought in $70.9 million in it’s first week. Which is much more then Watchmen has brought it.
To true fans its’ not about the money the movie grosses but rather the experience of seeing these super heroes come to life. That’s what makes or breaks the movie!
