Zac Efron really wants to be in his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’s upcoming action movie, “Sucker Punch”, because his desire is to work with director Zach Snyder.
There is only one little problem…
“I think it’s an all-girl movie,” Efron told E! News backstage at the MTV Movie Awards right after receiving the Golden Popcorn for Best Male Performance for his role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. “But if there’s any way to be in that film, I’d do it. I’d play a girl if I had to.”
Meanwhile, Hudgens told E! News she’s hoping to get some Angelina Jolie for her action-packed work in “Sucker Punch.”
“I’m so stoked about it,” she said. “I kept telling everyone, ‘I want to do an action film.’ But they were like, ‘Maybe in a few years.’ So I’m like, ‘Ha, in your face. I am doing one now!’”
Hudgens will shoot “Sucker Punch” after finishing “Beastly,” which she starts shooting this week in Montreal.
Meanwhile, her movie “Bandslam” makes it to theaters August 14. “It means a lot to me,” she said. “I get to play a different character who is a lot darker and very deadpan throughout the whole thing.”
